I am excited to officially announce that I shall be attending 'The Darker Side of Fiction' even in 2017 along with 50 others authors of paranormal and horror leanings at the Holiday Inn (Peterborough West UK) on Saturday 7th October 2017.The reason why this is an extra special event for me is because it is an event that I shall be showcasing my horror work, 'The Crow Man' due for release in Spring of 2017 under my horror pen name Kate John. 'The Crow Man' is my first adult horror work and has been three years in the writing.

INTRODUCING 'THE CROW MAN'
When your worst fear is your own mind.
The Crow Man, set in the 1950's, tells the story of Grace, the wife of a cold and egotistical GP. One misty afternoon, Grace sees the haunting figure of a living scarecrow standing at the bottom of the garden, watching the house, which is home to their twin boys.
As Grace's mind begins to unravel, and the grief of her stillborn daughter starts to overwhelm her, the enigmatic, handsome and revolutionary psychiatric doctor, Dr. Daniel Rose, offers Grace an escape with the new wonder drug, LSD. It is then that Grace's real nightmare begins to unfold.
In this modern day Frankenstein, the dark and terrifying psychiatric practices of the 1950's are conducted by a madman, and Grace is left the only sane individual in the asylum.
